The super6T™ is a universal Li Ion battery designed in Australia by Energy Renaissance to surpass the stringent Class 2-B90LL 6T and MIL-PRF-32565C Amd. 1 standard, making it the highest classification and safest 6T battery available.
Sovereign Australian super6T Li Ion battery
After a multi-million-dollar investment and four years of development, the super6T™ incorporates over a dozen world-first innovations, including market-leading ruggedisation, proprietary thermal management, and an all-Australian cybersecure intelligent Battery Management System (BMS). This combination ensures reliable power for silent watch operations and rapid cranking in all conditions.
The batteries are manufactured at the Renaissance One facility in Tomago, NSW, and the key components were developed by CSIRO. The super6T™ is designed to meet the evolving demands of defence forces worldwide, moving beyond traditional lead-acid batteries to offer superior performance, durability, and operational efficiency.
super6Ts being readied for export
This export signifies a significant entry into the substantial military vehicle battery market. The 6T format powers nearly 95 percent of NATO-aligned military vehicles, including tanks, tactical vehicles, and critical field equipment. As defence forces enhance their vehicle capabilities and power requirements, the super6T™ is well-positioned to meet the growing demand for high-performance, sustainable energy solutions.
A significant milestone for Advanced Australian Manufacturing and the Sovereign SME Defence Industry
