Can electric vehicles cope with Australia's wide open spaces?

EDEA Managing Director, Mark Tipping, will be discussing driving EVs around Australia's wide-open spaces at Fully Charged Live in Sydney this weekend.
Mark is also the past President of the Tesla Owners Club of Australia.

His role at EDEA Energy sees him driving his EV to visit rural, remote and outback communities in Australia's red centre. Ali Curung. Yuendumu, Papunya and Mereenie to name a few. Only flooding on the Kintore Rd last year prevented him reaching Kintore on the Western Australian border (530 km west of Alice Springs).

Since taking delivery of his first Tesla Model S in late 2015, a second in late 2017 and more recently a Model Y, Mark has travelled more than half a million kilometers in his Teslas. That's an average of 190 kilometers, every day, for almost 7 1/2 years - never once running out of charge!

During his time as President, the Tesla Owners Club grew to be the largest EV Owners Group in Australia.
